Group One: 10 Day Warning!

Extravagant Ones:

Take heed, ye Hardies  of Group One...ten (count 'em) days from today you will be fishing the waters of Montana.  Just which waters we don't know (I have my final prep meeting with the GH at noon on Monday while in Missoula and will fill you in further on what the current lay of the rivers is), but we do know at least that there will be sufficient waters to fish (as shown on our Rock Creek discharge graph, the flow has increased over the last 24 hours and STILL is in excess of last year's highest flowage!).

As you begin your packing this weekend (I am packed and leave for Montana early Friday morning [your Hostess with the Mostess, Kocktail Kathy, is driving down our Rock Creek driveway right at this moment]), remember:  (a) your guide gag gift; (b) polarized sunglasses; (c) a (true) rain jacket; (d) layered clothing (remember...it snowed yesterday, gang!); (e) sunscreen; (f) a dry bag and change(s) of clothes; and (g) guide tip cash [recommended new rates of $40/day/person].

Also, one in three updates are now coming to you via email; the balance are being posted to what should now be your daily review(s) of Der Blog at www.montanaextravaganza2008.blogspot.com .

Aaah, the closeness of it all is uplifting!

Best to all,

Rock Creek Ron
