For only the second time during Extravaganza 2008, members of our third group, Group Four (go figure!), will be fishing the local rivers of Missoula today. Targeted will be the Bitterroot River and the Big ("A River Runs Through It") Blackfoot Rivers, as the Clark Fork still is suffering from excess runoff and its color is that of tannin not the emerald green that we are used to this time of year. The runoff has subsided on the other two rivers, but, still, the waters rage down the Clark Fork of the Columbia River with entire trees still flowing with the flow--quite a sight, gang!
Undaunted by the unprecedented number of 2008 Twenty Inch Club initiates of Groups One and Two, the Fours go fourth with élan and courage this "hump day" of 2008, having taken the challenge from just departed Group Ta Two and put, under the careful guardianship and application touch of RCR, tattoos in places that would even make the Ones blush, if only they could see the, that is. Worst of the applications was that to Moon River Klaustermeier, however, who kept saying what the Women of Four also had said ("lower, lower, lower!"), as, in Moon River's case, he wanted to make sure that his promised mooning of the Fours would bear the now protected brand of the Extravaganza (thanks, Group Ta Two for inciting the riot in the Fours that befell your [wonderful] visit here!).
Off to the rivers we go, folks, as today's projected 90+ degree temperatures should assure that "there will be a hot time in the old town tonight"!
