Announcing the Line Up and Arrival of Group Three!!!

Extravagant Ones:

Count with me one last time:  "One, Two, Four, Three"...ah, the beauty of never having to do that (silly thing) again!!

In the air this very moment are the Wonderful Threes who are our clean up hitting group this year, and, with the local rivers just turning on, that is just what is going to happen...a major clean up and extensive addition to our now abundant Twenty Inch Club board.  Arriving in advance for the Threes were Jim "Mad Man" Hendrickson and his beautiful fiancée "Lady Di" Denham as well as Fred "The Guitar" Johnson (with his Stone Soup lead guitar in hand, I might add!) and his wonderful bride of decades, Carole (proud grandparents they now be!).

Currently airborne are returning veterans Cam "Mend" Carlson (a five time returning veteran and owner of many of a yellow hat and shirt) with his lifetime partner Jeannot (grandparents they be as well [as well as me, by the way!]) and the one and only "Gene, Gene The Fishing Machine" Ferguson ( a new grandparent also, btw), a now retired Delta Air Lines pilot letting the next generation doing the work today.  With The Machine is likewise five time returnee Brian "The Vine" Shepard and his two wonderful now seasoned Extravaganza veteran sons "Josef The Stick" and "Nicholas The Natch".

The Group of Threes is rounded out by returnees and now husband and wife "Grady The Great" Garrett and "Penny-Wise" Shawback, who are driving in from (one of) their Sun Valley abode(s) and by incoming rookies banker "Gary Gary" Ford and cpa "Bruce The Wombat" Mowat.

The Threes will host our annual Fourth of July Pig Roast bbq for our guides and great friends at the Grizzly Hackle, as well as the Sixth Annual Rock Creek Casting Contest (truly a sight to behold) and, as was seen for the first time two nights ago, will get to see the truly magnificent work product of this year's first summer camp sponsored with the International Wildlife Film Festival, where six lucky local high school students were able to follow along with and film the Extravaganza, creating a work of art that will proudly grace the halls of Extravaganza Headquarters for decades to come!!

Come one, come all; come on Threes, as you have a very widely paved path in front of you to follow.

Best to all from the scene of it all,

Rock Creek Ron
