Official Extravaganza Judge (and, btw, Master of Ceremonies at the 6th Annual Fourth of July Rock Creek Fly Casting Competition this year) Janet Rose announces that, sometime over the wee hours of one of the recent days, not one, but TWO donors to her charge, The International Wildlife Film Festival, toppled Extravaganza 2008 IWFF donations over the [magnificent] $10,000 mark, thereby making good on my prediction (actually, promise) to her exactly one year ago.
With great symmetry and élan, the two winners are each from Group Ta-Two who, by the way folks, film product is being posted to You Tube today! And the winners are, as relayed to me by Janet via continual email update, almost donation by wonderful donation....
Tim Rodgers and Angel Perez simultaneously have put us over.
Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(the above being excerpted from Janet's [very] excited recent email to Extravaganza Headquarters)
Congrats to Group Two's Tim Rodgers and Angel Perez for topping the sundae; and congratulations to all involved with Extravaganza 2008 for making this event what it truly has evolved into..."A Journey To The Soul">
Best to all,
Rock Creek Ron
