March Mellows Montana!

Greetings to all from the scene of it all:

Yes, indeed, as reflected in the attached photos taken this Sunday morning, March has mellowed the sharpness of winter here in Montana but, unlike in most of the recent years, there is yet an abundance of snow in these here parts...and that is good news—as it is that residual snow pack that will fuel the May and June runoffs, that, in turn, will cleanse the rivers that, in turn, will trigger the bug activity (more on that later) that, in turn, will properly set the fishing stage for Extravaganza 2008.

Bueno, bueno, bueno!

With the Ides of March now with us, stay tuned for an increased volume of updates and email traffic as we now enter the 90 day countdown period for Extravaganza 2008 and rapidly approach that fateful June 20th date when the marvelously unruly ruffians of Group One make their first 2008 Montana appearance and launch (as only they can so effectively do) the kickoff of Extravaganza 2008!!

Best to all,

Rock Creek Ron
